Summary and Requirements

• We are looking for a creative and highly qualified Senior Lead for Anyplan solutions and planning platforms.
• Support in transforming, expanding, and improving the integration of information and risk data within our growing asset management business.
• The position is based in Northern Trust's Asset Management division and reports to the Director, Data & Technology, in Pune.
• The Senior Lead is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced analytics and risk solutions that enable informed strategic decisions regarding asset allocation, portfolio management, and portfolio performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Extensive knowledge of financial planning software and platforms, including but not limited to ALM, ERP (TAS, FP&A applications), and financial modeling tools.
• Strong financial expertise, including GAAP/IFRS reporting standards.
• Close collaboration with business teams in defining data requirements and deliverables.
• Ability to manage and contribute to new and existing customer relationships.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and coordinate project plans and deliverables.
• Responsibility for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of capital planning solutions.
• Collaborate with experienced planning professionals to ensure that data requirements are accurately identified and that user-centered design principles are followed.
• Coordinating complex datasets, test plans, and implementation plans, and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Maintenance of project documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
• Strengthening quality assurance, quality control, model validation, and model testing.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline planning processes, automate manual tasks, improve reporting capabilities, and optimize the use of available platforms.
• Evaluation and implementation of modern planning platforms, including machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI-driven insights, to support analytical decision-making processes.
• Providing a robust framework for continuous improvement, supportive processes, accountability, and the delivery of business-driven results.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or finance.
• 5 to 10 years of experience with enterprise-wide financial planning platforms, FP&A platforms, or ERP systems.
• Experience in finance and portfolio management.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in design, prototyping, and solution architecture.
• Proven experience in leading the implementation of enterprise-wide planning platforms from the conceptual phase through to the production environment.
• Extensive experience in professional services/financial planning, workflow planning, management reporting, cost planning, and financial and budgeting operations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and effectively achieve results.
• Advanced technical knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks, Hadoop, and visualization tools.
• Experience with scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
