Senior Lead, Cyber Security Engineer

Tasks and responsibilities

• Planning, oversight, and coordination of IT compliance initiatives to ensure that all systems and processes comply with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Work with the Business and Technology Risk Management Department to define risk approval
• Development of Procedures and Guidelines
• Participation in audits with the IT Audit Department
• Customer Relationship Management
• Employee Training
• Leading incident response and investigation efforts
• Leading and managing a team of IT professionals, delegating tasks, and providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success
• Supporting team members and fostering an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• At least 10 years of solid, progressive technical experience in a combination of digital forensics, cybersecurity incident response, and general IT practices
• Strong skills and practical experience with cyber forensics tools such as AccessData, X-Ways Forensics, EnCase Forensics, etc.
• Strong skills and practical experience with security event monitoring tools: Splunk, Elastic, VMware vRealize Log Insight, and Dell Log Management (formerly SolarWinds)
• Strong understanding of information security objectives and IT compliance
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations such as the CCPA and GDPR
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with various laws (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley or SOX)
• Strong leadership skills
• Sound Governance Frameworks
• A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
