Sr Lead, DevSec Ops - Wealth & Asset Management
The position of Sr Lead, DevSec Ops - Wealth & Asset Management at Northern Trust in Chicago, IL, offers the opportunity to lead DevSecOps transformations and close security gaps to improve the resilience and efficiency of the company. The Sr Lead will work closely with various teams to promote security best practices and DevSecOps adoption across the company.
Tasks
- Proactively assess security gaps, develop innovative solutions, and drive DevSecOps transformation to improve resilience and efficiency.
- Act as the primary liaison between development and cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless integration of security into the DevOps pipeline.
- Implement security automation, risk mitigation strategies, and CI/CD security integration to ensure secure software delivery.
- Build trust with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams by promoting security best practices and DevSecOps adoption across the organization.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate secure coding practices and vulnerability assessments.
- Lead the DevSecOps strategy that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Work in a multifunctional team environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud security, or secure software development. Experience in the financial industry is an advantage.
- Expertise in CI/CD, cloud security, Azure DevOps, container security, and automation tools.
- Experience implementing security checks in a secure SDLC pipeline.
- Experience with secrets management, SCA, open-source tools.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Proven ability to interact with customers, lead teams, and drive strategic security initiatives.
