Sr Lead, DevSec Ops - Wealth & Asset Management
The Sr Lead, DevSec Ops - Wealth & Asset Management is responsible for the adoption and implementation of security by design principles within the Wealth and Asset Management division at Northern Trust. The role involves working with various teams to identify security vulnerabilities and develop solutions, as well as leading the DevSecOps strategy.

Tasks
- Proactively assess security gaps, develop innovative solutions and drive DevSecOps transformation to improve resilience and efficiency.
- Act as the main point of contact between development and cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless integration of security into the DevOps pipeline.
- Implement security automation, risk mitigation strategies and CI/CD security integration to ensure secure software delivery.
- Build trust with customers, stakeholders and development teams by promoting security best practices and DevSecOps adoption across the organization.
- Work with development teams to integrate secure coding practices and vulnerability assessments.
- Lead the DevSecOps strategy, aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Be able to work in a multifunctional team environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud security or secure software development. Experience in the financial industry is an advantage.
- Expertise in CI/CD, cloud security, Azure DevOps, container security and automation tools.
- Experience in implementing security checks within a secure SDLC pipeline.
- Experience with Secrets Management, SCA, open source tools.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Proven ability to interact with customers, lead teams and drive strategic security initiatives.
