Sr Lead, PAM Governance

The Sr Lead, PAM Governance is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive PAM governance strategy to ensure the security and compliance of privileged access within the organization. The candidate will act as a technical lead and work closely with various teams to mitigate risk and optimize processes.

Job description

Tasks

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive PAM governance strategy that aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices
  • Define and implement policies, procedures and standards for managing privileged access across the organization
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to PAM teams in the implementation and maintenance of PAM solutions
  • Identify and assess risks associated with privileged access and develop mitigation strategies
  • Performing regular risk assessments of PAM processes and controls
  • Ensure that PAM practices and controls comply with relevant regulations, standards and frameworks (NIST 800-53)
  • Develop training programs and materials to educate employees and stakeholders about PAM principles and technologies
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance PAM governance processes, controls and technologies
  • Act as subject matter expert for PAM governance matters, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of PAM governance efforts
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting PAM governance activities, challenges and achievements

Requirements

Required qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a business analyst on complex projects with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in Identity Governance, Administration, Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Familiarity with identity management tools and systems
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and security best practices
  • Experience with Unix and/or Windows Office Suite
  • Enough experience to handle process improvements and synergies in the "big picture"
  • Convenient for executing SQL queries and analyzing project details. Curiosity is crucial
  • Experience in the creation of metrics and dashboards

Preferred qualifications

  • Degree from a college or university and/or relevant proven professional experience in the field of information

  • Strives to proactively identify and address areas where improvements in business process efficiency and effectiveness would have a positive impact on the top and bottom lines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are also required as this position interacts with all levels of resources throughout the organization
