Senior Lead, Service Delivery Implementation

Tasks

• Lead the Day 2 and service release management process and ensure alignment across all these areas—data ingestion, production, and operations in Microsoft and IBM environments.
• Serve as the custodian of the engineering standards (development infrastructure, environments, and release procedures).
• Partner with business units, technology, engineering (software, infrastructure, databases, and controls), operations, and other service lines to ensure successful technology deployments and foster a culture of enhanced control.
• Provide all relevant, detailed inter-team and change logs, including detailed pre- and post-implementation change logs, and the migration to production.
• Lead and maintain our data change (Day One, Day Two, zero defect, test data, environment, and infrastructure) and design change management approach.
• Manage a small team of 4–5 people—supporting the technical team.
• Responsible for leading ongoing evaluations, workflow dashboards, management reporting, or implementation coordination.
• Security & Offline: Additional responsibilities include management, release management, and incident, problem, configuration, testing, and delivery practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Change and Release Management team, with clear accountability, delegation, partnerships, and clear KPIs.
• Communicate clearly and candidly with senior management, providing periodic progress reports, reviewing expectations, and delivering timely analysis of material issues.
• Train product customers to create and manage new product maintenance tasks and implement automated processes.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in one or more industries, including successful management of large, complex environments.
• At least 2 years of experience leading a strategic release management function.
• Proven experience in successfully improving infrastructure and performance in complex environments.
• At least 5 years of experience working directly with infrastructure or engineering operations teams.
• Strong command of all aspects of network operations and engineering environments.
• Proven ability to draft policies, SOPs, and test results for business processes.
• Proven experience in the Business and Applications sector: AWS, Dell, Oracle, at full FNM and full-stack scale.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred.
• Understanding of controls, tools, and practice standards in the financial services industry.
• Experience with service management (JMeter or an equivalent management or proprietary operations application).
• Gain experience leading weekly reviews, workflow dashboards, management reporting, or implementation coordination.
