Northern Trust is seeking a dynamic Sr. Lead, SQL MI Engineer with a focus on SQL data administration, automation and security operations to join an organization that is preparing for an exciting transformation to the cloud.Tasks and main responsibilities
- This role will have a matrix alignment to the Asset Servicing Technology Organization.
- This role will be part of a multidisciplinary Cloud DevOps technology team focused on the Omnium platform.
- Main responsibility will be the management of the SQL MI environment dedicated to the Omnium platform.
- Be competent in scripting to help with automation.
- Offer BAU support for all DB-related problems.
- Offer SQL optimization guides for developers.
- This role will involve working with the development team to design new database instances tailored for very specific use cases.
- Manage and provide guidance to the offshore MI team.
