Senior Lead, Software Engineering

Tasks

Issues and application of code fixes. Collaboration with business partners to analyze and resolve requests and ensure compliance with all controlled processes.

Requirements

The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, or a related STEM field, and 5 years of experience in software design, development, testing, and implementation. Alternatively, the employer may accept 7 years of experience in software design, development, testing, and implementation in lieu of a bachelor's degree. The experience must include at least:

• 5 years of experience with system development cycle, performing unit tests, system analysis, and application program development
• 5 years of experience in project feasibility, requirements definition, and project management
• 5 years of experience creating design documents for new requirements with solutions and system improvements
• 5 years of experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
• 5 years of experience with integrated sales systems, performing code reviews, and testing off-the-shelf and custom applications
• 5 years of experience with Cobol, DB2 database, IBM DataStage, SQL, UNIX shell scripts, and XML
