Senior Lead, Software Support
The position of Senior Lead Software Support at Nortek Power Electronics in Pune involves leading the software support team, performing technical diagnostics on drive systems, and collaborating with software developers and field service engineers.
Tasks
- Team Leader for the Software Support Team
- Maintenance and Monitoring of Drive Power
- Provision of Technical Support and Drive Diagnostics
- Participation in the development of new products
- Conducting Field Work
- Providing Support for Customer Installations
- Expertise in PC Support
- Preparing the Internal Service
- Collaboration with Software Developers on Software Fixes
- Maintenance of the Knowledge Base for PC Support
- Conduct 2-4-4-4 field visits at least every two weeks
- Software testing at Northrop for critical project releases, managing impact reports for all stakeholders, and implementing corrective actions
- Collaboration with the internal team and field engineers
Requirements
- Degree in OBE & Electrical/Electrical/Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, Automation
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Nortek products and experience with AC/DC power electronics motor drive systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
