Northern Trust is seeking a part-time Senior Clerk in Chicago who will be responsible for organizing, documenting, and monitoring assets, as well as preparing financial reports. Job Description

  • As a senior clerk, you are responsible for organizing, receiving, documenting, monitoring, and coordinating assets to ensure product results.
  • You use your critical thinking skills and your high level of financial stability and productivity to play a key role in enabling production.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide senior clerk production support, including critical processing, monitoring, documenting, receiving, multitasking, and communication skills required for financial stability.
  • Effectively identify and resolve issues, and develop solutions and process improvements to support efficient operations.
  • Use established tools, forms, and techniques to track and report financial data, payments, balances, and customer accounts in multiple languages.
  • Conduct a proactive review of complex, high-risk situations.
  • Achieve financial results and maintain high production quality.
  • Frequently provide complex, technical, and problem-solving support for cross-functional projects.
  • Maintain relationships with financial stakeholders and build customer relationships to provide outstanding customer service.

  • Identify and manage invoices, and ensure accurate invoice processing through financial management processes.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements.
  • Ensure that financial data are accurately imported into the financial management system and reconciled within the correct reporting period.
  • Ensure that all customer requirements are met and that the financial services provided are compliant and effective.
