About the job

As Senior Manager, Investment Management Technology, you will be a key part of the Investment Management Technology Practice team and will lead various initiatives to deliver technology solutions that enable our Investment Management Passive Index business across equity and fixed income asset classes.

Tasks

• You will build strong relationships with business and technology partners and lead and develop a team focused on delivering exceptional solutions and solving business challenges in portfolio management and trading technology for our index business.
• You will work with leading vendors/platforms and internal teams to define a strategic technology roadmap to transform technology solutions and deliver more efficient tools and an overall better partner experience.
• You will focus on maximizing the value of services delivered to the business and work with stakeholders to design business strategies with strategic technology programs and initiatives.
• They will also improve communication and engagement with business partners on a day-to-day basis and build long-term relationships between business partners and technology stakeholders.
• They will align technology strategy with business decisions and ensure consensus at all levels of the organization to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
• You will work with architecture and data teams to create roadmaps that enable business growth and the future of the business.
• You will plan, evaluate and hire talented employees. You will set performance standards and ensure supervision and training to develop and grow direct reports.
• You will ensure that all audit, security and risk management requirements are met.
• They will make significant efforts to keep themselves up to date with new fintech products/technology capabilities and integrate them as finished products to find optimal solutions and advise internal clients on their requests.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience working on large, complex programs/projects in the front office, with particular experience and expertise in portfolio management and trade execution domains.
• Strong business aptitude and rich experience working with large OMS and trading platforms, preferably Aladdin.
• Ability to synthesize and analyze relevant data to make informed recommendations and influence business outcomes.
• Successful experience leading, developing and driving a diverse and high performing team and managing performance by fostering a culture of accountability.
• Experience with a range of technologies including database experience working with big data, building and integrating APIs into platforms, micro-services architecture, client facing application development, Java/.NET/Python.
• Familiarity with agile (Scrum/SAFe) and waterfall development methods.
• Background in running team meetings, assigning action items and responsibilities, and monitoring overall project progress, with experience using Jira and Confluence.
