Storage DevOps Engineer 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Design and implementation of infrastructure configurations as code for NetApp storage and Hitachi storage
• Ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments
• Contributed to the development of a centralized configuration management framework using Ansible and other tools to manage and automate infrastructure configurations
• Ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices and continuously improving and refining these processes
• Provide expert advice and support to internal teams on automation to drive adoption and maturity of these practices
• Participate in the design and implementation of automated workflows and pipelines for provisioning and managing infrastructure configurations in the area of storage systems and backup software using tools such as Ansible
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless deployment and operation of storage and backup infrastructure and provide input on its improvement and automation

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with expertise in the design and implementation of automated deployments and configurations for storage systems, including NetApp and Hitachi
• Strong Linux skills with experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and other Linux distributions
• In-depth knowledge of storage systems, including: NetApp storage systems, ONTAP, Hitachi storage systems and VSP
• Broad infrastructure knowledge, including: network basics, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP - firewalls and load balancing concepts
• x86 compute platforms and virtualization technologies / Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and PowerShell
• In-depth knowledge of interfaces and protocols, including REST APIs and SSH
• High level of security awareness with understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
• 3+ years of experience in an organization, preferably in the banking or financial sector, with a focus on automation and code in their UVA
