Strategic Architecture Lead - Custody (80-100%)

Tasks

• Serve as a technical stakeholder within the Custody Value Stream leadership team, working closely with business managers and product managers to prioritize delivery dates.
• Partner with executives and project managers to define and continuously develop the delivery plan for the Custody Value Stream team.
• Shape and maintain the strategic enterprise architecture to ensure that it meets business objectives and fulfills scalability, maintainability, and security requirements, while ensuring the long-term technical direction of the custody value stream.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security best practices, working closely with enterprise architecture and CISO teams to ensure adherence to established standards.
• Collaborate with tech leaders to drive the platform toward its target state to ensure it aligns with strategic goals.
• Mentoring team members and actively participating in key ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and steering committees, for the teams under your supervision.
• Design, document, and communicate technical and architectural decisions as well as roadmap updates to all relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) with 10+ years of experience in an engineering/architecture/technology management role.
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns, modern technology stacks, and security.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering major business and technical initiatives.
• Comprehensive and practical knowledge of TypeScript (JavaScript) or Java.
• Managing daily interactions with business users and technology teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to make mature judgments.
• Willingness to mentor individuals and teams and to get directly involved in coding when necessary.
• Strong desire to continue learning.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to support business owners in defining a product roadmap and shaping the future of Sygnam's custody business.
• Highly organized and experienced in communicating across teams, geographic regions, and functions.
• A solid understanding of cryptography and blockchain concepts, digital asset security, and key management best practices (HSMs, Trusted Execution Environment, etc.) is very useful but not required.
