Strategic Financial Analyst & Performance Manager, Full-Time (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Conducting and implementing in-depth quantitative analyses (using the Management Information System)
• Early identification of office trends and insights regarding the income statement, impacts, and resource allocation for Sheet products, as well as the definition of actionable measures to promote and improve performance in each area
• Act as a sparring partner for front-office teams on financial matters, maintaining direct contact with front-line management and key stakeholders throughout the bank (e.g., Accounting, Treasury, Capital Management, Credit)
• Support for the region's financial planning and performance management (including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis)
• Development of tools focused on further automation and more flexible and timely data utilization
• Conducting business case assessments and market strategy reviews at regular intervals and drawing conclusions to inform decision-making processes
• Improving the performance management and reporting landscape to enable tracking of the implementation of the long-term business strategy

Requirements

• Strong academic background: A university degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field with above-average grades
• At least 4–5 years of experience in a comparable finance or related role within the banking industry or in management consulting with a focus on banking
• Excellent Excel and data processing skills, combined with a knack for conducting in-depth quantitative analyses
• Knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a strong advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multiple senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, quick thinking, and outstanding teamwork skills
• Strong personal motivation, combined with good organizational and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
