Strategic Buyer for Services with a Focus on IT and Professional Services (All) - 80–100%

Tasks

• Strategic procurement; development and revision of procurement strategies for professional and consulting services, administrative and enterprise services; ensuring compliance with processes
• Conducting competitive bidding processes, including sourcing, bid evaluation, and negotiations at the national and international levels. Advising and supporting business units in selecting suitable service providers for contract awards
• Negotiation and execution of framework and individual contracts. Monitoring and administration of existing contracts, including contract renewals and amendments
• Managing suppliers in close collaboration with functional departments. Establishing and maintaining long-term, strategic partnerships with suppliers
• Preparation of annual budget plans and reporting on expenditures, as well as supplier selection and evaluation within the respective departments
• Close collaboration with internal departments (including IT and Compliance) to coordinate purchasing needs

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in purchasing
• Several years of professional experience in the procurement of IT products and services
• Understanding of IT Technologies and Cloud Services
• Excellent written and spoken German; knowledge of English is a plus
• Experience in supplier evaluation and selection
• Confident Negotiation Skills
• A structured approach to work and analytical thinking
• Experience in managing complex procurement projects
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in the financial services or FinTech sector
• Multi-Year Procurement for Other Strategic Services
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies
• German (business fluent)
• English (fluent)
• Compliance, Due Diligence, Data Protection, and Commercial Insurance
• Experience in conducting tenders and negotiations at the international level is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with standard management systems
