Strategic Workplace Manager
Strategic Workplace Manager (80–100%) in Vienna, responsible for optimizing workplace concepts for an international Big Four firm and planning new properties. The position requires 2–3 years of experience in the real estate industry as well as knowledge of spatial planning or architecture.
Tasks
- Optimizing the use of office space to support a reduction in our space for as long as necessary while ensuring that employees can continue to meet their work deadlines.
- Further development of the workplace strategy based on the architectural planning firm in Vienna.
- Increasing Value Creation: Planning and Opening of Two New Properties in Austria.
- Optimization of our IT, security, network, and communications solutions.
- Optimization of office technology in office spaces.
- Conducting a needs analysis, identifying our procurement requirements, and aligning them with current inventory—future costs and operating expenses.
- Development and implementation of a dynamic and functional workplace organization.
- Oversight of construction and maintenance projects, as well as the implementation of renovation work.
- Non-operational assumption of overall project responsibility—7,500 square meters in the future.
- Updating the hybrid workplace architecture, including security standards.
- Responsible for ensuring the efficient and user-friendly implementation of the overall workplace strategy.
Requirements
- Expert Level: You are familiar with modern solutions in the areas of workplace technology, virtual offices, and IT.
- Leadership skills: In customer communication, team leadership, and workplace organization strategies.
- Qualification Level: Bachelor's or master's degree in urban planning or architecture.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop long-term visions for the future development of the workplace.

- At least 2–3 years of professional experience in the real estate industry.
- A strong understanding of design, efficiency, and user needs in office buildings.
- Strong analytical skills in optimizing resources.
- Knowledge of construction costs and experience in purchasing.
- Proficiency in Excel, especially with pivot tables.
- Experienced users of MS Office (Office 365), LibreOffice, and other similar programs.
- Health and flexibility for travel-related duties (10–15%).
- Excellent knowledge of German and English.
