Strategy Manager

Job description

As a Strategy Manager, you will support aspects of our strategic activities to articulate, deliver, and align our strategy in NotWest and/or Metro. You will:

• Improve our customers' experience by delivering the specified service levels and measures
• Create value by contributing your experience as a leader, including executive coaching, to our portfolio companies.
• Work on projects across the entire company for at least 12 months

Tasks

As a Strategy Manager, you will contribute to improving our business strategy goals by providing strategic support and challenges to shape the strategic direction of the company. Other important tasks include:

• Working with businesses, functions, and relevant support teams and control functions to develop our business strategy and performance
• Management and maintenance of performance, cost, and price metrics
• Communication and negotiation across the company on issues that require senior stakeholder management

Requirements

We typically look for candidates with experience in strategy. If you are new to strategy but have extensive experience in a related field, we would love to hear from you. In addition, you will need:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with and constructively influence and challenge a wide range of stakeholders
• The ability to clearly communicate complex information and ideas in order to build understanding and support
• Strategic and analytical thinking
• Understanding the financial technology market context and its potential impact on our companies

• Total package: £66,720
• 30 days of vacation
