Strategy Specialist - Group Strategy (100%, m/f/d)
The Strategy Specialist supports Julius Baer’s Group Strategy Team in Singapore in developing and implementing the company’s long-term strategy and in leading strategic initiatives. The role requires 3–6 years of experience in strategy or corporate development, ideally in the financial sector, and involves working closely with the Executive Board.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Drive the development and implementation of the Group's long-term strategic vision and related strategic programs throughout the organization
- Lead and contribute to high-profile, Group-level strategic initiatives, providing analysis, insights, and recommendations to inform strategic decisions
- Drive strategic intelligence through market, competitor, and internal analysis to support data-driven decision-making and strategic prioritization
- Design and deliver strategic initiatives and projects from concept to implementation, end-to-end
- Support the strategic cycle, including preparing for strategy offsites, full-year and mid-year reviews, and presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Front, Finance, COO, Communications and Marketing, Corporate Development, and Compliance, on a portfolio of Group-related strategic initiatives
- Maintain excellent project management skills and support team and individual development
- Contribute to the preparation of external reports to promote cross-cultural harmonization and the adoption of best practices
- Develop high-quality strategic content for senior management and the CEO, including board reports and other key materials
YOUR PROFILE
- A top-tier university education, preferably with a focus on corporate strategy, finance, or structured problem-solving
- 3–6 years of experience at a leading private consulting firm or in an in-house strategy or corporate development role, ideally in the financial services industry
- Proven ability to simplify complex challenges, translate stakeholder requirements into a coherent narrative, and produce high-quality deliverables
- Proven track record of providing high-impact corporate strategy support to leadership
- A proven track record of high-quality strategy execution and driving business development across a portfolio of strategic initiatives
- Ability to translate strategic ambition into clear direction, alignment, and execution
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into insights that inform decision-making
- Ability to handle multiple deliverables, manage projects from start to finish, and deliver accurate, high-quality products that meet expectations
- Disciplined organization and topic/project management skills
