Structured Products Private Banking Sales

The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced sales professional for structured products in Private Banking in Zurich, who will provide clients with personalized investment advice and drive the growth of the structured products offering. The ideal candidate will have at least 3–5 years of experience in sales or an advisory role and possess comprehensive knowledge of structured products and financial markets.

Tasks

  • Provide expert advice to Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors on customized investment solutions, with a focus on structured products, to meet client needs
  • Identify emerging market trends and develop innovative investment strategies to expand our client offerings
  • Design, price, and launch structured products based on equity, credit, and interest rate underlying assets
  • Proactively manage product lifecycles, notifying relationship managers and investment advisors of upcoming maturities and offering suitable replacement options
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders through regular desk meetings and advisory calls to promote structured products and drive business growth
  • Deliver educational sessions to Relationship Managers to enhance their knowledge of structured products and improve sales effectiveness
  • Help develop marketing materials that highlight investment ideas and structured products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a consulting or sales role
  • A strong passion for financial markets, with a broad understanding of various asset classes and in-depth expertise in at least one area
  • Advanced knowledge of structured products, including their design, pricing, and application
  • Ability to analyze customer needs, identify requirements, and develop customized solutions
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and create engaging educational materials to support sales efforts
  • A results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to succeed in a sales-oriented environment alongside colleagues and customers
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and VBA, with the ability to apply technical skills to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Fluent in German and English
