Structured Products Sales

The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced sales representative for structured products in Zurich who can offer customized investment products to client advisors and investment advisors and contribute to the company’s growth. The ideal candidate has at least 3–5 years of experience in sales or in an advisory role and possesses comprehensive knowledge of structured products and financial markets.

Tasks

  • Help grow the book, with a focus on the Swiss German markets
  • Provide expert advice to Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors on customized investment solutions, with a focus on structured products, to meet client needs
  • Identify emerging market trends and develop innovative investment strategies to expand our client offerings
  • Design, price, and launch structured products based on equity, credit, and interest rate underlying assets
  • Proactively manage product rollovers by notifying relationship managers and investment advisors of upcoming maturities and offering suitable replacement options
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders through regular desk meetings and advisory calls to promote structured products and drive business growth
  • Deliver educational sessions to Relationship Managers to enhance their knowledge of structured products and improve sales effectiveness
  • Help develop marketing materials that highlight investment ideas and new opportunities

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in an advisory or sales role, with P&I KPIs
  • Sales drive: A results-driven mindset with a proven track record of successfully developing client and RM partnerships, and a strong desire to succeed in a sales-oriented environment
  • Market Knowledge: A strong passion for financial markets, with a broad understanding of various asset classes and in-depth expertise in at least one area
  • Structured Products Expertise: Advanced knowledge of structured products, including their design, pricing, and application
  • Client Focus: Ability to analyze client situations, identify needs, and develop tailored solutions
  • Communication Skills: Skilled at simplifying complex concepts and creating engaging advisory materials to support sales efforts
  • Team Collaboration: A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and VBA, with the ability to apply technical skills to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in German and English
