SVP & Enterprise Architect

As an SVP & Enterprise Architect at Northern Trust, you will design the enterprise architecture and drive the integration of AI and machine learning solutions. You will develop strategies for digital transformation, automation, and MLOps to implement innovative enterprise solutions.

Tasks

  • Provide tools, guidelines, and expertise to build and deploy machine learning within the enterprise
  • Drive consistent growth in automated deep analysis efforts across groups to foster automation and AI adoption
  • Support the adoption of the latest AI developments and technologies
  • Assist with the use of AI and enhance the developer experience through code-based application development tools
  • Drive the adoption of business and technology processes through digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with the business unit
  • Work in close partnership through the Architecture Steering Board

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in general AI/machine learning and enterprise-scale AI/ML systems
  • with X or more years of experience in AI/ML solutions, or the application of AI/ML solutions, or other machine learning and analytics
  • Experienced in architecting and interpreting models for existing enterprise environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English at a near-native level)
  • A self-starter who is resilient in a VUCA environment (fast-paced and resistant to change)
  • Additional degree (Master's in Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field)
  • Professional certifications in AI, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise architecture
  • At least several years of experience with AI and data systems, including an MLOps practice
  • Programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with ML frameworks
  • A focus on building and a proactive user-centered approach, combined with a strong interest in learning and exploring new methods through design and data science, supported by strong research skills (such as Kaggle and other competitions, or work with large-scale GPT models and large language models—Oly = GPT-3/4, M5, G5, D2, etc.)

  • Salary Range: $171,437 564,000 $172,039 (564,000)
