System Administrator (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Server Infrastructure: Setup, maintenance, and administration of the server infrastructure (Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, terminal servers, Exchange servers, and SFTP servers).
• Network administration: configuration and monitoring of the network infrastructure (firewall, switch, VPN); creation and management of user accounts.
• Software and System Management: Implementation and documentation of updates; license management (e.g., SSL certificates, Microsoft, developer licenses).
• Employee onboarding: Support with the technical integration of new team members.
• Cloud services: Implementation and management of cloud solutions.

Requirements

• Successfully completed training as an IT specialist (system integration) or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in IT administration.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows Server, Office 365, Azure) and network administration (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, VPN).
• Experience with Linux (Debian, Ubuntu), Apache Webserver, Exim, Fail2Ban and Tomcat.
• Working Safely with VMware.
• Ideally, experience with Kubernetes, Jira, and GitHub/Lab.
• Very good knowledge of German (C2 level).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
