Tasks

• Collaborate with GPS leaders and key stakeholders to define target and transition architectures and ensure they align with the overall vision and goals of the enterprise architecture
• Develop and define the GPS technology strategy based on the corporate strategy, evaluate new technologies, lead the Technology Architecture Board and define technology migration roadmaps
• Perform technology-related assessments, run proof-of-concept projects and act as a coach for Agile teams during migration
• Own the solution sketch and define transition roadmaps with concrete inputs for GPS ART to reach the target application landscape
• Support teams with enterprise architecture governance compliance to ensure adherence to architectural standards, guidelines and policies
• Keep abreast of trends and drivers in the financial industry, markets and technology, propose innovative and robust solutions to business partners and support them with architectural issues
• Facilitate digital transformation and global solution adoption by balancing scalability, operations, flexibility and geographic adoption

Requirements

• Passionate about technology with a can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment of continuous change
• Several years of proven experience as a system or software architect in the financial industry or as a consultant with a banking focus
• Successful track record in the implementation of technology projects, including methodological assessments, strategy definitions and roadmap creation
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in at least two functional areas: Market data distribution, real-time data analytics or migration/redesign of software from desktop-based to web-based cloud-native applications
• Several years of experience as a web software developer (Java or .NET)
• Business language skills in written and spoken English; spoken German is an advantage
