Tasks

• Collaborate with GPS leadership and key stakeholders to define target and transition architectures and ensure they align with the overall architecture vision and goals
• Development and definition of the GPS technology strategy based on the corporate strategy, evaluation of new technologies, management of the Technology Architecture Board and definition of technology migration roadmaps
• Perform technology-related assessments, execute proof-of-concept projects and act as a coach for Agile teams during migration
• Responsibility for the solution conception and definition of transition roadmaps with concrete inputs for GPS ART to reach the target application landscape
• Supporting teams in complying with enterprise architecture governance to ensure adherence to architectural standards, policies, and guidelines
• Keeping abreast of trends and drivers in the financial industry, markets and technology, proposing innovative and informed solutions to business partners and assisting with architectural issues
• Drive digital transformation and rollout of global solutions to achieve a balance between scalability, operations, flexibility and geographic adoption

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for technology with a "can-do" attitude and entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment of continuous change
• Several years of proven experience as a system or software architect in the financial industry or as a consultant with a banking focus
• Successful track record in delivering technology projects, including methodological assessments, strategy definitions and roadmap creation
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in at least two functional areas: Market data distribution, real-time data analytics or migration/redesign of software from desktop-based to web-based cloud-native solutions
• Several years of experience as a web software developer (Java or .NET)
• Business language skills in written and spoken English; spoken German is an advantage
