System Architect

Tasks

• Support the requirements, architecture for NH-HS & Trade-OPS
• Support architecture governance to manage architecture debt and architecture guidelines
• Manage and lead proof-of-concept projects for new technologies and tools that may support business initiatives
• Participate in and contribute to the bank's IT architecture strategy by working in close collaboration with the Architecture COE
• Provide technical guidance to project teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle
• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviors, including but not limited to honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers appropriately), conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

• Able to handle verbal and written communication when English is the primary language used for external communication
• Able to explain designs and solutions to both developers and business users
• Strong leadership skills in a matrix organizational structure, with the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate team members and developers
• A passionate and efficient self-learner who is eager to adopt new technologies and new business models
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or computer science
• 10+ years of experience in the design and implementation of enterprise systems (preferably in private banking or wealth management)
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachmann
• Experience in enterprise application integration and integration patterns is required for this position
• Experience in implementing machine learning-based solutions is a plus
• Experience in understanding technology platforms and deployment methodologies using microservices, cloud services, and containers (e.g., Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Prior experience in delivering complex system transformation projects, both end-to-end and in the cloud
• Knowledge of software engineering standards and modeling methodologies (e.g., UML, SysML) is highly preferred
