The position as System Architect: Investments & Pensions in Zurich offers the opportunity to develop innovative solutions for the future and to design a modern and sustainable solution architecture. The position requires a high level of architectural and design expertise in the areas of investments & pensions, software engineering, and security.
Job description
We are looking for a systems architect for investments and pensions. The position is advertised for 80%–100% of working hours in the IT/business engineering department in Zurich.Tasks
The tasks include:- Development of portfolio architecture blueprints and structural framework for overall system investments & pensions
- Creation of application and technology portfolio analyses in the portfolio
- Developing long-term solutions for our custom and standard software
- Development of design decisions within the portfolio
- Familiarize yourself with new technical and specialist topics (e.g., DDD, modularization with microservices, cloud)
- Defines the solution architecture rules and standards in the portfolio and enforces them
- Supporting and accompanying projects and DevOps teams in architectural terms
- Reviewed solution architectures and security concepts
- Advising the department on feasibility, options, and opinion formation
Requirements
For this position, we require:- High level of expertise in architecture and design in the areas of systems and provision, software engineering, and security
- In-depth knowledge of security principles, standards, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, VPNs)
- Expertise in cloud solution design, Azure services, and containerization
- Solid knowledge of Java development, JPA (Hibernate), Spring, SQL (Oracle)
- Analog knowledge is an advantage
- Visionary thinking regarding agile software development and living agile values
- Very good German language skills and communication skills
