System Engineer Digital Reporting
As a Senior System Engineer, you will further develop LGT's Digital Reporting Platform (DRP) and take end-to-end responsibility for the migration of an existing reporting system. Your tasks will include the integration of reporting applications, implementation of quality attributes and support in the automation of test and operational processes.

Tasks
- Integration of a multi-tier reporting application using synchronous/asynchronous integration patterns (REST, MQ, Events/Kafka, JPA/OM).
- End-to-end responsibility for the migration of an existing reporting system to the new strategic LGT platform.
- Implementation of quality attributes according to business expectations (non-functional requirements such as application performance, scalability, stability, verifiability).
- Support in adopting the automation of test and operational processes.
- Promoting an open and science-oriented team spirit.
- Ensuring technical quality in accordance with LGT standards
- Continuous support in the optimization of the DevOps environment.
- Support in the development of optimal solutions within the framework of pragmatic and strategic goals.
Requirements
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills and experience with legacy migration and reverse engineering projects.
- Sound expertise in the areas of data analysis, data visualization and related tools.
- Advanced knowledge of databases, query languages (SQL/UMS, SQL) and ETL processes.
- Experience with reporting technologies and platforms such as Quadiant Inspire
- Proven software engineering skills in the development of multi-tier applications with integration patterns (REST, MQ, Events/Kafka, JPA/OM).
- Understanding of architecture patterns (microservices, BFF, 12-factor), application security and quality attributes (scalability, verifiability, observability).
- Experience with job automation and workflow planning (e.g. UCF4/Automic) as well as programming languages such as Python for testing and automation.
- Knowledge of front-end technology.
- Experience with agile projects, in particular with SCRUM and SAFe methods.
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
