System Engineer

Tasks

As a Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, configuration management, and monitoring systems, as well as support day-to-day operations. You will work closely with the broader IT teams, infrastructure engineers, and other systems teams to deliver automation solutions that help us deploy platforms that drive our delivery. The role is subject to an on-call rotation.

Requirements

* Experience supporting end-user platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Teams * Experience supporting end-user technologies such as Windows, macOS, and mobile devices * Experience with automation tools and scripting/programming languages (Python, Go, PowerShell) * Infrastructure and engineering skills across distributed systems, with the ability to diagnose complex production issues under pressure * Knowledge of security best practices and infrastructure architecture platforms * 5+ years of engineering experience, with engineers able to work effectively with AI-powered development tools as part of their daily workflow

Further requirements

• Experience with device management, including Intune and second-line support
• Experience in IT service management (ITIL) and/or problem management (Pink, Green, HDI, Grafana, ELK, Log, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source code workflows (Git, Jenkins, TeamCity)
• Linux/Windows operating systems
• Self-motivated, with the ability to set priorities and effectively manage time across multiple projects
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
