System Engineer MS Exchange
The System Engineer MS Exchange (m/f/d) is responsible for the administration and operation of infrastructure applications, in particular MS Exchange, and supports the optimization and automation of processes. The position requires experience in IT support and knowledge of Windows OS and Unix.
Job description
Tasks
- Ensuring the operation of infrastructure applications as part of application management (2nd level)
- Management of change requests for the fulfillment of process-related requirements
- Participation in periodic releases and/or disaster recovery tests on weekends
- Involvement in projects on operational aspects for existing or newly integrated applications or infrastructure components
- Routine data cleansing of the systems
- Process optimization and automation of recurring tasks
- Updating the documentation of application operation (knowledge database)
- Independent work with a focus on precision
Requirements
- Completed IT training (diploma in computer science or other IT-related certification)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in IT support
- Unix knowledge (shell scripting is an advantage)
- Knowledge of the Windows operating system at server level
- Knowledge of e-mail encryption
