Job description
System Engineer MS Exchange 100% (m/f/d)Tasks
- Processing of incident tickets generated by monitoring systems and the local service desk within SLAs
- Coordination and communication between incident managers, application service owners, level 3 support and other IT/business stakeholders
- Assumption of periodic on-call services (weekly 7*24)
- Management of change requests for the fulfillment of process-related requirements
- Participation in periodic releases and/or disaster recovery tests on weekends
- Involvement in projects relating to operational aspects for existing or newly integrated applications or infrastructure components
- Regular data cleansing of the systems
- Process optimization and automation of recurring tasks
- Updating the application operating documentation (knowledge database)
- Independent work with a focus on precision
Requirements
- Completed IT training (diploma in computer science or other IT-related certification)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in IT support
- Unix knowledge (shell scripting is an advantage)
- Knowledge of the Windows operating system at server level
- Knowledge of e-mail encryption
