System Engineer

Your tasks

• Planning, evaluation, procurement, design, and implementation of big data platforms in the role of System Engineer (SE)/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
• Operation of on-premises big data environments consisting of the Cloudera Data Platforms, the internal AI assistant, the log management stack, and event streaming
• Providing 2nd-level on-call services

Your profile

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (university of applied sciences, university, or ETH)
• Expertise: Red Hat Linux, OpenShift, big data tools (Hadoop Stack, Flink, Kafka), generative AI (vLLM, RAG)
• Programming experience: Python, Bash, DevOps and configuration management tools (Ansible, Git)
• Proficient in German or French, as well as in English
