System Engineer Windows Server
The Swiss National Bank is looking for a System Engineer Windows Server (80%-100%) for the Windows Server Engineering Team in Zurich to support the highly available Windows Server environment and implement new applications. The new employee will be responsible for the planning, design and maintenance of the Windows server infrastructures as well as for the support and further development of automation.

System Engineer Windows Server (80% -100%)Your contribution
- Shared responsibility for the planning, design, engineering and maintenance of Windows servers, server virtualization and hyper-converged infrastructures;
- Collaboration in the further development of automation in the provisioning and administration of IT infrastructures;
- 2nd level support and on-call service for the Windows server; support for the software lifecycle of the operating system and operating system-related applications;
- Ensuring the effectiveness of disaster recovery concepts and supporting other teams with concepts relating to implementations and migrations of existing and new applications.
Your knowledge and experience
- Selected education and training in the field of computer science (HF, FH, ETH/University), experience in Windows server engineering and good programming skills in PowerShell;
- Knowledge of information security, virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), server hardware and monitoring (SCOM) is an advantage;
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills as well as resilience and assertiveness;
- Stylistically confident oral and written communication in German or French as well as in English.
