System Engineer Windows Server (80% - 100%)
The Windows Server Engineering Team is responsible for the design, conception, and operation of a modern, highly available Windows Server environment.

Tasks

• Joint responsibility for planning, design, engineering, and maintenance of Windows servers, server virtualization, and hyperconverged infrastructure;
• Responsibility for the further development of automation in the provisioning and management of IT infrastructures;
• Second-level support and troubleshooting services for Windows servers; management of the software lifecycle of the operating system and operating system-related applications;
• Ensuring the effectiveness of the disaster recovery concept and supporting other teams with concepts relating to the implementation and migration of existing and new applications.

Requirements

• Proven education and training in the field of computer science (HF, FH, ETH/university); several years of experience in Windows server engineering and good scripting skills in PowerShell;
• Knowledge of information security, virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), server hardware (Lenovo, HPE), and monitoring (SCOM) is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, as well as resilience and assertiveness;
• Stylistic oral and written communication in German or French as well as in English.
