T24 Application Support / Operations Engineer (Full-Time) (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a T24 Application Support/Operations Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of core banking applications through expert application management and incident resolution. The ideal candidate has experience with Temenos T24 and at least 5 years of professional experience in T24 support.
Tasks
- Performing coordination and communication tasks between incident managers, application service owners, third-level support, and other IT and business stakeholders
- Assumption of periodic on-call duty (24/7, weekly)
- Administration of Change Requests for Application-Specific Process Management
- Participation in periodic weekend releases
- Involvement in projects related to operational aspects of existing or newly integrated applications
- Performing data cleansing on the T24 Core Banking System
- Process optimization and automation of recurring tasks, including handover to L1 (Control Center)
- Updating the application operations documentation (knowledge base)
Your profiles
- Completed IT education (degree in computer science or another IT-related field)
- Experience with Temenos T24; proven ability to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot daily operations, including end-of-day (COB) processing. Knowledge of operational IT support tools such as JBoss, Oracle Database, TAFJ, DSF, Octoplus, Splunk, and Dynatrace. Familiarity with the TPH module is a plus
- At least 5 years of professional experience in T24 support
- Strong knowledge of Linux (shell scripting is a plus)
- Knowledge of Java application servers and AWA schedulers is a plus
