T24 Application Support / Operations Engineer (Full-Time) (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a T24 Application Support/Operations Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of core banking applications through expert application management and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Temenos T24 and operational IT tools, as well as at least 5 years of professional experience in T24 support.
Tasks
- Performing coordination and communication tasks between incident managers, application service providers, third-level support, and other IT and business stakeholders
- Provision of periodic on-call services (24/7, weekly)
- Management of change requests to support application-specific processes
- Participation in periodic weekend releases
- Involvement in projects related to operational aspects of existing or newly integrated applications
- Provision of Data Cleaning for the T24 System
- Process optimization and automation of recurring tasks, including handover to L1 (Control Center)
- Updating the application operations documentation (knowledge base)
Your requirements
- Completed IT education (degree in computer science or another IT-related field)
- Experience with Temenos T24. Demonstrated ability to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot daily operations, including end-of-day (COB) processing. Knowledge of operational IT tools such as JBoss, Oracle Database, TAFJ, DSF, Octoplus, Splunk, and Dynatrace. Knowledge of the TPH module is a plus
- At least 5 years of professional experience in T24 support
- Strong knowledge of Linux (shell scripting is a plus)
- Knowledge of Java application servers and AWA schedulers is a plus
