T24 Application Support / Operations Engineer (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

Julius Baer Bank is seeking a T24 Application Support / Operations Engineer who will be responsible for supporting and operating the T24 application and who has experience with Temenos T24 and operational IT tools. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in T24 support and a degree in IT.

Tasks

  • Coordinating and facilitating communication between incident managers, application service providers, third-level support, and other IT and business stakeholders
  • Assumption of periodic on-call duty (24/7, weekly)
  • Management of change requests for application-specific process handling
  • Participation in periodic weekend releases
  • Involvement in projects related to operational aspects of existing or newly integrated applications
  • Routine data cleansing of the systems
  • Process optimization and automation of recurring tasks, including handover to L1 (Control Center)
  • Updating the application operations documentation (knowledge base)

Requirements

  • Completed IT education (degree in computer science or another IT-related field)
  • Experience with Temenos T24. Demonstrated ability to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot daily operations, including end-of-day (EOD) processing. Knowledge of operational IT tools such as JBoss, Oracle Database, TAF2, DSF, Octopus, Splunk, and Dynatrace. Knowledge of the TPH module is a plus
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in T24 support
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (shell scripting is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Java application servers and AWA schedulers is a plus
  • Knowledge of ITIL Foundation
  • Proven experience in the banking industry with extensive knowledge of financial products
  • Process-oriented and analytical approach
