Job description
We are looking for an experienced Tableau Server Administrator to join our Data Visualization Competence Center. This role requires managing the day-to-day operations of our Tableau Server environments to ensure high availability, scalability and security.Tasks
- Monitor server health, performance and user activity to ensure high availability and stability
- Troubleshooting of server problems and efficient resolution of incidents
- Automation of recurring tasks and server maintenance with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Development and maintenance of comprehensive server documentation, including configuration settings and maintenance procedures
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business partners
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to resolve complex technical issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
- Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new challenges
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, computer science, business intelligence or a related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Tableau Server Administrator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of Tableau Server architecture and components
