Purpose of the role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting Man Group's recruitment needs across all functions. The Talent Acquisition team provides innovative solutions through technology-enabled, proactive and dynamic recruitment for hiring needs, while adhering to the principles of technology-enabled, candidate-centric, consultative and cost-efficient (through agency partnerships).

Tasks

  • End-to-end talent acquisition support:
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and implement effective talent acquisition solutions.
    • Development and publication of job advertisements and requirement profiles via appropriate channels to attract highly qualified candidates.
    • Direct search for candidates through advanced techniques, including job boards, databases, professional networks and referrals.
    • Evaluate skills and conduct thorough candidate assessments to ensure alignment with role requirements and business needs.
  • Candidate pipeline management:
    • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for key business areas to ensure a steady flow of highly qualified candidates.
    • Primary point of contact for candidates to ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process.
    • Communicate with candidates, including coordinating interviews and providing timely feedback to ensure a smooth process.
  • Stakeholder collaboration:
    • Work with hiring managers and department heads to deliver customized and effective talent acquisition solutions.
    • Providing hiring managers with expertise on best practices, market conditions and candidate expectations.
    • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team members to share insights, solve challenges and implement consistent practices.
  • Technology-based approaches:
    • Use of application tracking systems (ATS), such as iCIMS, to efficiently manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes.
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the ATS to deliver actionable insights through advanced reporting and analytics.
  • Diversity, equality and inclusion:
    • Develop strategies to attract and engage diverse candidates across all roles.
    • Proactively support DE&I initiatives by incorporating inclusive practices into every step of the Talent Acquisition process.
  • Cost-effective practices:
    • Prioritize direct sourcing methods to minimize reliance on external agencies and reduce overall talent acquisition costs.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies within the Talent Acquisition process to contribute to broader organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, either in-house or agency, with experience in executing full cycle hires.
  • A strong background in an investment bank or wealth management firm, with strong relationships with hiring managers and team members.
  • Professional in application tracking systems (preferably Greenhouse) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to build rapport with candidates and provide an excellent candidate experience.
