Tax Reporting Specialist
The Tax Reporting Specialist will support HSBC's tax reporting in Switzerland, in particular in the extraction and production of tax data and ad hoc queries. The position requires strong knowledge of tax reporting and regulatory requirements as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Tax Reporting SpecialistTasks
- Tax returns and reporting
- Analysis and results orientation
- As part of the operational chain, reporting requires a disciplined and methodical approach to ensure compliance with internal deadlines and the rules applicable to tax authorities
Main tasks
- Supporting the front office with tax reporting
- Support Investment Operations in the preparation of tax documents; follow up and investigation as required
- Coordination with Corporate Taxation Front Office and Tax Reporting
- Preparation/ maintenance/ consolidation of tax reports
- Implementation of projects related to tax reporting (preparation of reports for tax resolutions, proposals for amendments)
- Supporting various teams in the preparation of tax documents for Swiss tax (direct/indirect)
- Preparation/ maintenance/ consolidation of reporting tax documentation
- Ensuring that tax returns are documented with the relevant audit, accounting and tax departments
- Efficient and timely support for the BFA tax and accounting teams
- Ability to anticipate regulatory and internal deadlines
Requirements
- Good knowledge of tax reporting, ideally acquired through professional audits
- Understanding of processes and controls to ensure accuracy; striving for high quality results under pressure and within agreed deadlines; precision, attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role
- Strong attention to detail to ensure that the work produced meets the highest quality standards
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with business partners (e.g. finance, risk, legal, compliance)
- Fluency in English and written skills in French and English; German is a plus
- Conscientious, hard-working and results-oriented; methodical and adaptable
