Tax Reporting Specialist
Tasks
- Manage and support the operations and reporting of the Swiss Banks Wealth and Withholding Taxes team
- Preparation of tax reports and performance of tax audits
- Manage the end-to-end processes to support our tax delivery of all requested documentation and be the first level of management for these activities
- Assist in the closure of operational data files; reporting activities require a high level of skill to ensure data accuracy; the role also carries confidentiality responsibilities associated with tax authority systems
Requirements
- A background in taxation and/or relevant professional experience; knowledge of Swiss and international tax legislation and processes related to tax authorities
- Support for other tax-related sub-functions
- Support HSMO Tax Authorities in the preparation of tax documents; tracking and investigation as required
- Coordination with the Controlled Document Team & Front Office for the tax reporting process
- Strong knowledge of the financial markets; understanding of the current market situation; experience with tax-related processes and requirements
- Participation in tax-related projects (preparation of reports for tax regulations, process improvement)
- Support HSMO Tax in the preparation of tax documents for front office (e.g. reporting)
- Maintaining and updating HSMO control documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Ability to proactively anticipate, identify and manage risks
