Tax Specialist (female)

Your role

Are you interested in risk management and tax oversight for financial institutions? Do you have the curiosity and drive to master all aspects of this role? We are looking for a Tax Specialist who:

• monitors and reviews trustees, fund managers, and third-party providers used by tax advisors to ensure consistency and accuracy
• analyzed potential foreign withholding tax refunds and opportunities to maximize fund returns
• responds to inquiries from client advisors and clients regarding tax matters throughout the fund lifecycle
• oversees the setup and documentation of products with regard to taxes
• Conducts audits to ensure the completeness of tax-related adjustments and compliance with tax laws, as well as to verify that accounting figures comply with the relevant regulations
• Conducts investor due diligence for funds with a restricted investor base and optimized withholding tax for Swiss pension funds
• ensures that funds comply with FATCA/CRS requirements and maintain the necessary documentation

Your expertise

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• relevant academic background, such as
• Strong background in Swiss and European tax law
• Ability to resolve and answer complex tax-related inquiries
• meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative personality, with the ability to work well in a team
• Fluency in German and English; knowledge of French and/or Italian is a plus
