Tax Specialist 100% (m/f/d)Tasks
- Tax support for key stakeholders such as Private Banking, Global Products & Solutions (GPS) for product offerings and client solutions
- Maintaining and updating the tax stability rule engine to reflect the latest legislative changes, tax decisions and internal policy decisions
- Independent monitoring and control activities as part of the second line of defense, validating the correct implementation of tax regulations, systems and processes
- Sharing expertise in product taxation through special training sessions and improving internal training materials on product taxation topics
- Monitoring developments in product taxation, international and national legislative changes and assessing their impact on current practices and systems
Requirements
- University degree in law, business administration, finance or a related field
- Ideally at least 2 years of post-academic experience in a financial institution, law firm, accounting firm or corporate tax environment
- Experience in private banking, asset management or capital markets is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of Swiss and/or international tax regulations affecting investment products
- Familiarity with Swiss tax law and selected foreign tax laws relevant to Julius Baer's client base
- Knowledge of financial products (shares, bonds, funds, structured products) and trading environments
- Language skills in English; German is a strong advantage; additional languages are an advantage
