Tax Specialist

Your role

Are you interested in risk management and tax compliance for financial delegates? Do you have the curiosity and drive to master all aspects of this role? We are looking for a Tax Specialist who:

• monitors and reviews trustees, fund administrators, and third-party tax advisors to ensure consistency and accuracy
• analyzed potential foreign withholding tax refunds and opportunities to maximize fund returns
• responds to inquiries from client advisors and clients regarding tax matters throughout the fund lifecycle
• oversees the setup and documentation of products with regard to taxes
• conducts audits to ensure the completeness of tax-related adjustments and compliance with tax laws, and verifies that the accounting figures are in accordance with the relevant regulations
• Conducts investor due diligence for funds with a limited investor base for Swiss pension funds
• ensures that funds comply with FATCA/CRS requirements and maintain the necessary documentation

Your expertise

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• relevant academic background, such as
• strong background in Swiss and European tax law
• Ability to resolve and address complex tax issues
• a keen eye for detail and a proactive and cooperative personality, with the ability to work in a team
• Fluency in German and English; knowledge of French is a plus
