Team Business Manager

The job advertisement describes a full-time position as Team Business Manager at Julius Baer in Luxembourg, where the applicant will be responsible for providing operational, sales, and administrative support to the team. Tasks

The duties of the Team Business Manager include:
  • Management of daily operational, sales, and administrative aspects in close cooperation with the Group Head (GH)
  • Supporting the GH with daily inquiries, covering and/or assisting with commercial and risk approvals, and monitoring team task management
  • Preparing relevant reports and presentations and supporting senior management
  • Coordinating and/or supporting the bank's strategic initiatives and projects by working closely with the Market Business Management team and within the respective team
  • Supporting the GM in his supervisory duties, managing daily risks through regular risk exchanges with the GM, monitoring risk and control reports/dashboards, and performing approval and control tasks delegated by the GM and in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Conducting and/or coordinating quantitative and qualitative analyses as a basis for decision-making for team and individual RM customer portfolio planning, performance reviews, scorecard processes, and/or ad hoc inquiries
  • Collecting team input and providing ideas for improving efficiency in the bank's processes and systems
  • Communication of relevant information from the bank/region/market level and derivation of measures for the respective team, including monitoring and follow-up on agreed measures
