Team Business Manager
The job posting describes a full-time position as Team Business Manager at Julius Baer in Luxembourg, in which the candidate is responsible for providing operational, sales, and administrative support to the team. The Team Business Manager works closely with the Group Head and handles tasks such as report preparation, presentations, and risk management.
Tasks
The duties of the Team Business Manager include:- Management of daily operational, sales, and administrative aspects in close cooperation with the Group Head (GH)
- Supporting the GH with daily inquiries, covering and/or assisting with commercial and risk approvals, and monitoring team task management
- Preparing relevant reports and presentations and providing support to senior management
- Coordinating and/or supporting the bank's strategic initiatives and projects by working closely with the Market Business Management team and within the respective team
- Supporting the CEO in fulfilling his supervisory duties, managing day-to-day risks through regular risk briefings with the CEO, monitoring risk and control reports/dashboards, and performing approval and control tasks delegated by the CEO in accordance with internal policies
- Conducting and/or coordinating quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform team and individual RM client portfolio planning, performance evaluations, scorecard processes, and/or ad hoc requests
- Collecting team input and providing ideas for improving efficiency in the bank's processes and systems
- Communicating relevant information from the bank, regional, and market levels, and developing action items for the respective team, including monitoring and following up on agreed-upon actions
