Team Business Manager

The job advertisement describes a full-time position as Team Business Manager at Julius Baer in Luxembourg, where the applicant will be responsible for providing operational, sales, and administrative support to the Group Head. Tasks

The job description includes responsibility for day-to-day operational, sales, and administrative management in close cooperation with the Group Head (GH). This includes:
  • Supporting the GH with daily inquiries
  • Coverage and/or support of commercial and risk approvals
  • Monitoring team task management
  • Preparation of relevant reports, presentations, and support for senior management

Further tasks

  • Coordinating and/or supporting the bank's strategic initiatives and projects by working closely with the Market Business Management team and within the respective team
  • Supporting the GM in his supervisory duties, managing daily risks through regular risk exchanges with the GM and monitoring risk and control reports/dashboards, as well as performing approval and control tasks delegated by the GM and in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Conducting and/or coordinating quantitative and qualitative analyses as a basis for decision-making for team and individual RM customer portfolio planning, performance reviews, scorecard processes, and/or ad hoc inquiries
  • Gathering team input and providing ideas for improving efficiency in the bank's processes and systems
  • Communication of relevant information from the bank/region/market level and derivation of measures for the respective team, including monitoring and follow-up of agreed measures
