Team Business Manager

The Team Business Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational, sales, and administrative management of a team in close collaboration with the Group Head. The role involves supporting the Group Head with day-to-day enquiries, monitoring risks, and preparing reports and presentations.

Job description

The Team Business Manager (Team BM) is responsible for managing daily operational, sales, and administrative aspects in close collaboration with the Group Head (GH). This role includes supporting the GH with daily inquiries, covering and/or assisting with commercial and risk approvals, and overseeing team task management. The Team BM is also responsible for preparing relevant reports and presentations and supporting senior management.

Tasks

  • Coordinates and/or supports the bank's strategic initiatives and projects by working closely with the Market Business Management team and within the respective team
  • Supports the GH in his supervisory duties by monitoring daily risks through regular risk exchanges with the GH and monitoring risk and control reports/dashboards, and performing approval and control tasks delegated by the GH in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Conducts and/or coordinates quantitative and qualitative analyses as a basis for decision-making for team and individual RM customer account plans, performance reviews, scorecard processes, and/or ad hoc requests.
  • Gathers team input and provides ideas to improve efficiency in the bank's processes and systems
  • Communicates relevant information from the bank/region/market level and derives actions for the respective team, including monitoring and following up on agreed actions.
  • Organizes and conducts team meetings and communication in close cooperation with the GH
  • Manages systematic sales processes with the support of Regional Business Development and GH and coordinates/implements the use of sales tools within the respective team.
  • Performs budget planning and effective cost control for the respective team (if applicable)

  • Able to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
  • Working independently, efficiently, proactively, and meticulously
  • Professional user of MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
