Team Business Manager

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Team Business Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a business unit, lead cross-functional projects, and ensure the implementation of the business unit's strategy. The ideal candidate is an independent, efficient, and proactive employee with experience in financial planning and control.

Tasks

As Team Business Manager, you are responsible for:
  • The management of day-to-day operational and administrative aspects of a business unit
  • The management of cross-functional projects
  • Implementation of the business unit's strategy
  • Preparing key reports and presentations
  • The coordination of events
  • The control of business-specific processes
  • Responsibility for financial planning, cost control, and reporting for the business unit

Further tasks

  • Preparing presentations, concepts, and white papers for internal and external parties
  • Planning and execution of internal events, meetings (e.g., offsites, town halls), and communication
  • Conducting and/or coordinating quantitative and qualitative analyses as a basis for decision-making for projects, performance reviews, scorecard processes, and/or ad hoc requests
  • Implementing financial budget planning and effective cost control and reporting for the business unit, team, and/or projects
  • Responsibility for managing business-specific processes

Requirements

  • Open to working in an environment of constant change
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
  • Independent, efficient, proactive and diligent way of working
  • Proficient user of MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Relevant higher education and professional background
