Team Lead, Client Tax Reporting & Tax Reclaim (Full-Time)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Team Head of Client Tax Reporting & Tax Reclaim to lead and support the team in providing high-quality tax reporting and services to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax reporting and tax reclaim within an international banking context, as well as strong leadership and people management skills.
Tasks
- Manage incidents and resources
- Support in the development of new solutions in close collaboration with the product manager
- Handling of individual, highly complex inquiries
- Responsibility for the day-to-day use of key tools and processes
- Continuous improvement through the optimization of workflows, the automation of manual steps and controls, and the enhancement of process scalability, efficiency, and stability
- Promoting team development through regular coaching and feedback, while maintaining the current knowledge base and providing training for stakeholders
- Collaboration with Partners/Stakeholders
Requirements
- Leadership and Human Resources Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop professionals in a results-oriented environment; experience in performance management, team development, and coaching
- Expertise: Several years of relevant professional experience in client-side tax returns and the processing of withholding tax refunds in an international banking environment
- Operational Excellence: Proven track record in managing time-sensitive operations; deep understanding of internal controls and risk mitigation
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Easy Tax client reporting software is a plus
- Languages: Fluent in German (written and spoken); good command of English
