Team Lead, Data Center of Excellence
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Team Head for the Data Center of Excellence to lead a team of over 14 members and oversee the planning and implementation of processes and projects in the area of data management and analysis. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, knowledge of banking operations and process engineering, and strong analytical skills.
Job description
The Data Center of Excellence within Global Operations Services has a twofold mission. It delivers critical daily processes such as tax reporting and reconciliation, while maintaining a continuous focus on improving these processes through process engineering, automation, and control solutions to achieve process excellence. The Team Head is responsible for planning and achieving these goals while supporting and coaching the team of 14+ members.Tasks

- Team support and coaching
- Skills Development: Ensuring that the team develops its skills to improve the quality of development or actively support transformations
Requirements
- Leadership skills and coaching abilities; prior management experience required
- Experience in banking operations, client tax reporting, or corporate actions is a plus
- A desire to gain a deep understanding of business processes in order to identify areas for improvement
- Project management experience
- Process Engineering, Process Automation, Data Analysis
- Analytical skills to understand and solve problems
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent academic degree) in business administration, finance, data engineering, or a related field
- Fluency in English and a good command of German are a plus
- Data and technical skills for data analysis; experience with data modeling is a plus
